ZRX: Zombies Run + Marvel Move App Reviews

EDIT: I went to the developer website and found that as an early app buyer I could restore purchases, so I have access to all seasons again. Some of my progress still seems to have been lost, but Im just glad to have the missions available again. I bought this app years ago and have loved it. Ive just logged in for the first time in several months, to find that not only are seasons 2 and 3 no longer available to me, but my progress has been reset to season 1 episode 1. Where did all my purchased content and progress go?

About 3 months ago I bought the $20 Pro Membership. For a couple days everything worked fine but after those few days, the missions and radio stopped working. The app would just crash in the missions after about 15 minutes and I wouldnt pick up anything and after the first part of the dialogue, it wouldnt come back. In the radio, it wouldnt play any of my music even though I set up my playlist for it. Please fix this problem so that I can continue using such a great app like this

The app is great. However, seeing as it focuses a LOT on you listening through "radio", the voice acting should have received a lot more attention. Other than that pretty neat.

I love this app because the story is engaging and also because it works with voiceover. I would give it five stars but my only problem is Im having trouble syncing with Apple Music.

Your car audio is WAY off it runes it a bit for me when you say golf cart but the sound is of a dirt track funny car or a jeep and the sound is of a V8 turbo diesel

Because apparently even though I bought them years ago, I now need to buy an "upgraded membership" to access content I ALREADY PAID FOR unless I want to wait for a random specified date to be able to use the episodes. This is ridiculous and unacceptable, just a way to nickel and dime people who had already paid for content.

I absolutely love this app. There is nothing bad to say about it. Its beautiful. The story is amazing. I come back to it every day. Zombies, Run has motivated me to get into shape. I mean, who wouldnt run from a horde of zombies? Thank you for making this app. You have changed my life for the better.

Absolutely loved this app. Actually made running fun. Quit for over a year and came back and now I have to pay to use it?! Or wait a long time between missions. No thanks. Guess itll be getting deleted again.

Just when I was about to subscribe for a full membership, I started having issues with the app. I loved the stories and the voices. Then some of the missions got buggy... Id play them but get no sound at all, and the mission would never register as completed. Then with missions that did play, no matter how I adjusted the sound ratio, I couldnt hear the mumbling character voices over the music, which wasnt that loud. It seems lately like the story seems to get progressively quieter as the mission plays. Its so frustrating. Im just glad I havent dropped any money on it yet.

Will make you fit in no time.

I like this app, but I just started season three and the volume of the clips is ridiculously quiet compared to the Music app I have open in the background. I adjusted the volume slider in the settings and it helps but I still struggle to hear the story clips. Didnt have this problem with seasons one and two.

The game is imaginative and, if you can let yourself get in the right frame of mind, inspiring. Let the moment take you and you can put yourself in the zombie infested world, which is better than it might sound. Just dont listen if your running with your partner and they like to nibble on you.... Very disturbing. The few times they had bugs, they have been very responsive and quick to fix... Got to love that. Thanks Six!

I love this app. I like how you can go at your own pace. The story and characters are good. Im probably in the best shape of my life right now thanks to this app.

Ive tried just about everything to motivate myself to run. So far nothing else had worked. I downloaded this, expecting much of the same failure. By the time a reached the "pay wall", I was addicted and had to upgrade to a premium account!

This was so much fun! Just did my first mission and it pushed me harder than before because I wanted to keep going to find out what happened, and when zombies were detected I had to run faster, which I never do during my runs. I cant wait for my next run!!!

I picked up the app as something to try while I was walking and found myself hooked on the story. The authors have done a good job making the story interesting, and having a cast of people and sound effects makes the story more interesting than one person reading a book. Its like listening to a movie. My kids have even started walking with me and enjoy the story line. Note that my youngest were 13 when they heard a few missions. There have been a few swear words. No f bombs. There have also been some suspenseful situations. I dont know the age recommendations, but I personally wouldnt let young kids listen to it. Something else I like is that it plays well with other apps. I use Zombies, Run! while listening to music, and it will automatically turn the music down when the story returns. This can also be adjusted so that the music gets turned down even more depending on preference. I like that there are levels of subscriptions including free access. If you know youre only going to use the app during the summer, then just get a shorter subscription. If you can go out year round, buy a year pass.

Zombies, Run! makes running and jogging a whole lot more enjoyable for me, and I feel encourages me to exercise more often than I normally would be motivated to do so. It is a delight to hear the story develop. It would be incredible if the camp and participation-based progress tied into a more involved and suitably well-made game, even as a separate app. I know that wouldnt be for everyone, but for those of us who enjoy gaming (in a sense what drew me in to Zombies, Run! in the first place) it could be a delight.

Ive greatly enjoyed this app and the storyline it brings. Engaging and exciting while being easy to use and information packed. Wonderful option for the serious or hobby runner or someone just getting started.
